Hello !
Know more about me! What is my academic background, my experience in the world of work, my skills and how I look to the design.
I studied Industrial Design at the Superior School of the Arts Saint-Luc in Liège. After four years, I obtained my Master's degree with honors thanks to my eco-friendly project "Explorer". I've always been involved in sustainable design and the eco-design. So, after that last year, I decided to do a complementary Master's degree in this field.
Today, I try to have an overview on my projects. I think about their ecological impact or I try to include eco-friendly or recycled materials, etc.
Education
Experience
Currently, I'm searching for my first real job... Yeah, that's not so easy... How about giving me the opportunity of showing you what I made of ?! However, I've already done placements during my studies.
The first one was with a cabinetmaker. I designed some furniture such as chairs, coffee tables, TV stands... All these exclusively in wood. They were often unique items and made-to-measure. I liked that work and I discovered a new aspect of design : more personnal and more concrete due to a direct production.
The second one was in a company which is specialized in office furnitures. This placement taught me to be more versatile and the real tasks a designer comes into contact with when working for a company. I designed office furnitures, especially with high acoustic insulation such as office lounges, office partitions... But, I also met clients or partners, I did studies about the competitors, etc.
Languages
I'm a French native speaker but I've good knowledge in English. I also studied business English during for one year at evening classes. (Don't be too lenient with my English mistakes...!)
